All online sales will now be known to the tax authorities! 😱
The news about this appeared on the website of the State Tax Service of the Ukrainian traffic police April 02, 2025.
What exactly is it about?
The Ministry of Finance of Ukraine approved amendments to the Regulations on the form and content of settlement documents/electronic settlement documents, which came into force on March 01, 2025.
In particular, the form of the Fiscal Cashier's Check for operations to receive funds for their subsequent transfer was approved.
The form of this check, in particular, provides that it indicates the details of the RECIPIENT of the transfer, namely:
- last name, first name, patronymic;
- tax number;
- name of the recipient's bank;
- number of the recipient's account opened in the bank;
- purpose of payment.
So, when someone transfers funds through a non-bank financial institution, this financial institution generates and sends to the server of the State Tax Service of Ukraine a fiscal check with full details of the person who received such payment.
That is, as an example, when someone pays for a parcel at Nova Poshta, information about this payment (who exactly was paid) immediately goes to the tax server. Similarly, if someone pays at OLH, Prom or Rosetka.
Thus, the tax began to receive information about everyone who sells goods on cash on delivery and/or uses such tools as PromOplata, “Secure Transaction” in OLX Dosta, etc.
